Jungkook had always known you were busy, but when he found out you were a doctor, his admiration for you skyrocketed. 

"You're a doctor?" he reeapted, eyes wide with disbelief and admiration mixed together. "Like... an actual doctor?"

You laughed at his reaction, nodding. "Yes, an actual doctor, Jungkook." 

His mouth opened and closed like he wanted to say something but couldn't find the words. Then, after a moment, he let out impressed whistle. "Damn, that's... wow. That's amazing, Y/N." His eyes sparkled with newfound admiration as he pulled you into a hug. "I'm dating a real-life hero."

You chuckled, leaning into him. "It's not that big of a deal." 

Jungkook pulled back slightly, frowning. "Not a big deal? You save lives! You work crazy hours. You must be exhausted all the time." His brows furrowed in concern. "Do you even have time to rest?" 

You sighed, shaking your head with a small small. "Not always. Night shifts can be rough, but I'm used to it."

Jungkook's lips pressed into a pout. "Used to it doesn't mean it's okay, though." He crossed his arms, looking like he was deep in thoughts. "So that means... sometimes you'll be working overnight, and I won't get to cuddle you?" He looked heartbroken at the realisation 

 You laughed at his dramatics. "That's what you're worried about?"

"Of course!" he exclaimed. "How am I supposed to sleep knowing you're out there working so hard while I'm just lying in bed?" His voice softened as he reached for your hand. "I just... I don't like the idea of you being so tired, love."

Your heart melted at his concern. "I'll be okay, Jungkook."

He sighed, tugging you into his arms again, this time resting his chin on top of your head. "Fine, but promise me you'll take care of yourself, okay? And if you ever need anything—coffee, food, a late-night call to keep you company—you let me know."

You smiled, wrapping your arms around him. "I promise."

Jungkook exhaled deeply, still holding you close. "I'm so proud of you, Y/N. And I'll be your biggest supporter. Just don't be surprised if I start showing up at your hospital with snacks."

You laughed, already imagining him sneaking in with a bag full of your favorite treats. "I wouldn't expect anything less."
